These Terms and Conditions apply to online sale of books, films and other articles imported from Poland for individual orders.
1. INTRODUCTION
The TaniaKsiążka.co.uk online Bookstore conducts retail sales in Great Britain of Polish books and other products imported from Poland on individual customer orders within approximately 7-14 business days (the shipping date of the order is always given before it is placed). All products sold (books, DVDs, games, etc.) are new, unused products, coming directly from distributors or publishers. Goods are shipped from the UK - no additional customs fees are added to orders. All fees and customs formalities are handled by the Bookstore. The given order price is the final price.
2. PLACING ORDERS
Orders for products can be placed via the website located at http://www.taniaksiazka.co.uk
Orders are accepted 24 hours a day all year round. The minimum order value is GBP 1.00.
A necessary condition for the execution of the order is to make payment for the order.
To complete the order, it is necessary to provide a correct postal address. The Buyer is responsible for providing the correct postal address. If incorrect data is provided resulting in the shipment being sent to the wrong address, complaints will not be accepted.
Providing a correct e-mail address is necessary to confirm acceptance and completion of the order. Each order accepted for processing will be confirmed electronically. The order is also considered confirmed at the time of payment. Unpaid orders that cannot be confirmed within 3 business days will not be processed.
3. ORDER STATUSES
During the execution of the order, the customer is constantly informed about the order status - the system automatically sends an e-mail with information about the change in the order status.
Order statuses descriptions:
pending - this status is given to each placed order,
paid - this status is given to an order whose payment has been successful, and the order is forwarded for processing,
preparing for shipping - the order has been packed and is waiting for shipment, which should take place within 24 hours. Orders are usually shipped within a few hours of being completed.
shipped - the parcel has been sent, from now on the carrier (Royal Mail or courier company) takes full responsibility for the order. The information about the status change includes the shipping date, package number and carrier name,
in progress - this status is given to orders accepted for processing - the message contains the planned shipping date (orders with this status cannot be cancelled at the customer's request),
partially completed - applies to orders that contain goods that are difficult to obtain - the missing items are shipped by the Bookstore at its own expense,
cancelled - this status is given to an order that has not been paid within 3 business days from the date of submission - order cancellation is preceded by an e-mail with the title: IMPORTANT INFORMATION..., which contains detailed instructions on how to make the payment.

4. ORDER CANCELLATION
Orders with the statuses 'paid' and 'in progress' cannot be cancelled at the customer's request. It is possible to cancel such an order in exceptional situations after prior arrangement with the complaints department ( reklamacje@taniaksiazka.co.uk ). NOTE: in such a situation, the shipping cost is not refundable (for orders with free shipping, this amount is £2.99) - this is dictated by the specificity of the Bookstore's work - all goods available in the TaniaKsiążka UK are imported from outside the UK and assembled according to the individual preferences of the customer and on his special request. This provision does not affect the Customer's rights to cancel the order (The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, Part 3 - 28(1A)). If the payment for the order was made by card or from a Pyapal account, the refunded amount is additionally reduced by a non-refundable commission charged to us by Paypal at the time of payment. NOTE: due to the introduction by Great Britain of the need to carry out customs clearance for goods imported from Poland from the 1st of January 2021, the refunded amount is additionally reduced by the costs of import customs procedures at a flat rate of 8% of the order value.
Orders regarding which there are any doubts will be verified by the staff and such orders may be cancelled. The ordering party will be informed about this fact.
5. SHIPPING OF ORDERS
Detailed information on shipping costs and types is provided on an ongoing basis in the Shipping Policies tab visible in the store's main menu (or at this link: https://www.taniaksiazka.co.uk/gb/delivery).
To ensure the safety of the shipped goods, the Bookstore reserves the right to make the final choice of the forwarder - especially in the case of valuable shipments.
5a) From the moment the shipment is shipped, Royal Mail or the courier company (depending on the selected shipping option) takes full responsibility for the order. The Bookstore is not responsible for delays caused by Royal Mail or for damage to parcels during transport. You should report such damage to your local Royal Mail branch (form P58) or directly to the postman. The Bookstore will provide any assistance in submitting complaints.
5b) If the order cannot be delivered due to the buyer's fault (providing an incorrect or incomplete address or failure to collect the shipment), resulting in the order being returned to the sender, the order is cancelled and the amount paid, less shipping costs, return costs of GBP 4.50 and a non-refundable operator's commission Paypal payments refunded to your account. For free shipping, the flat rate return shipping cost is £7.59. NOTE: due to the introduction by Great Britain of the need to carry out customs clearance for goods imported from Poland from the 1st of January 2021, the refunded amount is reduced by the costs of import customs procedures at a flat rate of 8% of the order value.
The Bookstore does not send cash on delivery.
6. ORDER COMPLETION DATES
Books and other products offered in the TaniaKsiążka.co.uk online Bookstore are usually available within 7-14 business days from the date of placing and paying for the order.
The Bookstore has a warehouse located in Glasgow, where approximately 10,000 titles are available and orders for these items are fulfilled immediately. If it is necessary to import the ordered item from Poland, the waiting time for the order to be shipped is from 7 to 14 business days.
The order delivery time is the sum of the delivery time and the shipping date - a standard shipment usually reaches the recipient within approximately 9 business days (7+2). Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays and bank holidays in the UK and Poland. The day the order is placed is day zero.
Before making a purchase, customers are informed about the planned shipment date of the order. The order shipping date is also included in the order confirmation, which is sent by e-mail to the Customer at the time of placing the order. The given order shipping date is an approximate date.
The Bookstore makes every effort to ensure that orders are fulfilled as quickly as possible, however, the Bookstore reserves the right to provide a new date for shipping the order in the event of delays in deliveries which the Bookstore has no influence on, e.g. caused by third-party companies transporting goods on the Poland - United Kingdom route. 7. PAYMENTS
Prices in the TaniaKsiążka Online Bookstore are expressed in British pounds (GBP) and include VAT (gross prices).
The Bookstore accepts the following forms of payment:

- payment via Paypal account.

In the event of purchasing goods for which an incorrect price has been entered by the store staff or a server error, the buyer will be informed about this fact and the order will be corrected or cancelled depending on the buyer's decision.
Payment must be made within 24 hours. After this date, unpaid orders will be cancelled.

9. FINAL PROVISIONS
If the goods are out of stock, the Ordering Party is informed about this fact and the resulting possible extension of the order processing time. If the Ordering Party does not agree to extend the order processing time, he or she may completely resign from the order or only resign from the item that extends the order processing time.
Each shipment is accompanied by proof of purchase (invoice).
Orders are only shipped within Great Britain.

10. COMPLAINT CONDITIONS:
Complaints about defective products are accepted within 14 days from the date of sale.
Only hidden defects caused by the manufacturer are subject to complaints.

The complaint will be considered and returned within 14 days from the date of delivery of the damaged goods. If an identical product is not in stock, the customer will receive a cash refund.
Differences resulting from the individual settings of the Customer's computer (color, proportions, etc.) cannot be the basis for a complaint about the purchased goods.
Goods with visible traces of use and defoliated multimedia materials (CDs and DVDs) are not subject to complaints.
Complaints about parcels suspected of being lost by Royal Mail are accepted after 15 working days from the date of posting (in accordance with Royal Mail regulations).
11. RETURN OF PURCHASED GOODS:
In accordance with the provisions on remote sales (The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, Part 3 - 28(1A), goods purchased in the TaniaKsiążka UK Bookstore cannot be returned. This provision does not affect the Customer's Rights to cancel the order and is dictated by the specificity of the Bookstore's work - all goods available in the TaniaKsiążka UK Bookstore are imported from outside Great Britain and assembled according to the individual preferences of the customer and on his special order.
In exceptional situations, after prior arrangement with the complaints department, it is possible to return the purchased goods. The returned goods cannot bear any traces of use and cannot be unpacked or removed from the foil (this applies in particular to DVD films and multimedia materials). Before making a return, please send a request to cancel your order to reklamacje@taniaksiazka.co.uk to obtain approval and a returns number. Shipments without a return number will not be accepted. Shipping costs and financial operator commissions are non-refundable.
