The products offered in our bookstore are usually available within 7-14 business days. The shipping date is always provided prior to ordering. Reliable suppliers and regular deliveries guarantee that the declared terms of waiting for the order are kept.
The order delivery time is the sum of the delivery time and the shipping time - standard shipment usually reaches the recipient no later than within 9 working days (7 + 2). Working days are days from Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays and non-working days in the UK and Poland. The day the order is placed is day zero.
We make every effort to ensure that orders are processed as quickly as possible, however, we reserve the right to provide a new delivery date in the event of delays in deliveries over which we have no influence, e.g. caused by third parties transporting goods on the Poland - United Kingdom route. Such delays may occur especially in winter, in the case of difficult road conditions prevailing in transit countries.
After the shipment has been shipped, the system sends the buyer a message containing the shipment number and date of shipment.
NOTE: information about shipments is provided only by e-mail. If your shipment is delayed or you want to receive more information about your order, write to spedycja@taniaksiazka.co.uk, providing your name and order number. If you have not received your shipment within 5 working days from dispatch, please contact us immediately. The post office stores parcels for about 2 weeks from the date of the first delivery attempt. The shipment is then returned to the sender. The return cost is £ 4.50.
If it is not possible to deliver the order due to the fault of the buyer (providing an incorrect or incomplete address or failure to collect the parcel), resulting in a return to the sender, the order is cancelled and the amount paid, less shipping costs, return costs in the amount of GBP 4.50 and a non-returnable commission of the Paypal payment operator returned to the account. In the case of free shipments, the flat-rate cost of return shipment is £ 7.59. NOTE: due to the introduction from 01/01/2021 by the United Kingdom of the need to carry out customs clearance for goods imported from Poland, the refunded amount is reduced by the costs of import customs procedures in a flat-rate amount of 8% of the order value.
